MSW, University of Southern California
Life is hard and we all need a little help sometimes! I specialize in helping children, adolescents and young adults explore and overcome life's challenges. Trials and troubles are no stranger to any age. My focus is about processing these challenges and growing from them while learning appropriate coping strategies to handle it in the moment. While I mostly specialize in working with children and adolescents, I do have experience also working with families and couples.
I believe in an eclectic approach because not everyone is made the same. I will work with you to decide how to best approach therapy. There are a number of techniques out there to help you start to process and learn appropriate coping techniques that are going to work for you. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
